Selections for 19/06/2011

Yesterday proved to be another superb day for the blog in all honesty. With the conclusion of the Royal Ascot meeting we were intending to go out with a bang but instead had to settle for a princely £8.80 profit on the card, small in isolation, but when you consider that it concludes a spell which has seen us finish £180.90 up to £10 stakes at Ascot this week I'm sure you will agree, it really isn't all that bad.

Newmarket was the card which really shone for us yesterday, with winners flying in from all angles, leading us to over £100 profit to £10 stakes on that card alone, and making sure that the profitability of the blog continued to grow, with the overall figure now well over the £300 profit mark to £10 stakes in what is just our first 5 days.

The RED selections also went very well for us yesterday leading to over £70 profit during the course of the day, and hopefully netting some deserved cash for some of our readers who don't necessarily want to take the whole plunge into this way of betting just yet.

With Ascot now over a lot of the racing interest will die down from the "casual" punter, but we will carry on regardless, safe in the knowledge that whatever the weather, there will always be a fair few hardy soles looking to increase their disposable cash with a bet on the horses.
